Upstairs on the first floor, the light and bright living room has 2 comfortable sofas as well as an armchair and numerous footstools. From here, large bi-folding doors can be pushed right back on warm days, and the space opens out onto a charming decked terrace with sea views. Whether you want to sit out with your book during the day, or with a glass of wine or two, it's the perfect spot to sit back and relax under the sun.
The bedrooms have been finished with thoughtful touches in mind. The master bedroom on the second floor features a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe and a modern en-suite with a shower. You'll also find large bi-folding doors, which open up onto a balcony with beautiful views of the water. Next door, there is a further double bedroom as well as a twin room with 2 singles on the first floor - both of which share a stylish bathroom suite with both a shower and bath. Its pretty views, convenient location and smart finish makes this townhouse a brilliant spot for a seaside holiday!
Free parking is available in Turnchapel village car parks.
Guest Access:
This is a two-storey townhouse with both floors accessed via stairs, so may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations. Guests will have access to the whole property.
The Neighborhood:
Turnchapel is an idyllic village on the south coast of Devon, located within a listed conservation area. The townhouse has a brilliant spot a stone's throw from the Harbour and offers lovely views of the water and bobbing boats. You are located less than 1 minute from the water, and there are 2 small beaches in the village itself. There are ample beaches all around; Bovisand is just a 15-minute drive away whilst Bantham is reachable in 45 minutes and is great for surfing. The South West Coastal Path is also right on the doorstep, providing stunning walks for hikers of all abilities.
There are two eating pubs in the village, The Clovelly Bay Inn (which has been named the best pub in Plymouth) and the Boringdon Arms, which has a pretty garden. The Clovelly Inn is under a minute's walk from the house and is a great spot to grab a drink. There is a cafe around the corner in the village (5 minutes walk) which offers great food and terrace seating overlooking the marina. There are two further pubs on the waterfront nearby (around 15 minutes walk) called the Bridge and The Mount Batten Bar.
The taxi boat service to the Barbicans, Plymouth City Center and Royal William Yard in the listing (£2 per trip) is a great way to access the city. It runs until 11 pm every day during the summer, until 6 pm Sunday to Thursday and till 11 pm Fridays and Saturdays during the winter.
Getting Around:
If you are driving to Turnchapel there is no allocated space at the property, but there is ample free parking at the top and bottom village car parks. The closest train station is Plymouth, which has regular direct trains to and from London Paddington. From here, it is a 15-minute drive to the property or you can catch a 45-minute bus.
Other Things to Note:
Due to a severe allergy, we only allow non-shedding dogs e.g. Poodles and Poodle crosses. There is an additional fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are kept off sofas, beds and not left in the property unattended.

There is a renovation project opposite the property, but the work is very sporadic and as such there the potential for very infrequent noise.
