"This was my 3rd time staying at QdLR, yet I think this is my first review of the property(?). This is a solid gem in Pinhão. Although about 0.5 km from the town, the location means it is quiet. "Staying here was restful, and very peaceful. Perfect! We enjoyed the privacy of the location. The generous breakfast, and attention to details. It is centrally located to the area sights we wanted to see. It was lovely to have the vineyards to walk through, beautiful views of the river Douro. Definitely recommended!"

"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."
