"We had a most delightful two day stay at the Casa do Santo. Our wonderful host, Maria was full of local and historical knowledge and made us feel very welcome. "This is a beautiful, peaceful property. We enjoyed the huge rooms, gorgeous dining room, and decent gym. The spa consisted of a small sauna and steam room (which we could not open, and there was no one working there to open it). But it was very difficult to find, as the Expedia address took us to a house 15 minutes away. "Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"Veronica and housekeeper were both so kind and helpful. The unit was really clean, well maintained and had everything we would need for our stay. We were able to walk to almost everything and felt safe. If we were to come back we would stay here again, truly a beautiful place due to the management."

"Location, location, location. We had an amazing stay! The hotel is less than 5-minute walk to the Sao Bento train station, historical part of town and ALL local restaurants. The staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly, helpful and very welcoming. We had a minor issue with the room, but it was taken care within a few minutes. If we come back to Porto, we will definitely stay at the Porto Royal Bridges Hotel! "
