"The rooms are small and the beds are hard, the wifi doesn't cover all rooms(including mine). Dinner is by reservation only in the hotel and there is very little in the area, so you will need a vehicle. Parking is limited, about 20 spaces for 50 rooms. They can allow you to park in surrounding property parking but it's by availability. On the good side you are on the lake, meaning you are literally 5 steps from tanning or splashing in water. "Our stay at the Gasthof zur Post was all we could have hoped for. The Kramer family and their staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of fresh food on offer at the buffet with the option of freshly cooked items too. The best hotel we have ever stayed at!

"From the moment we entered the hotel and smelt the alpine essential oils, we knew we had made the right choice. We arrived before our check-in time and the lovely people at reception (extremely informative and attentive) went out of their way to allow us to check in early so we could see the incredible sights of Bled as soon as possible. When we checked in, we received a €10 voucher each towards any treatment worth €80 or more. Our lake view room was very well equipped (only missing an iron) and was exceptionally clean. The bed and furniture were all extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and a good size and there was ample space in the wardrobes. Our balcony had fantastic, unobstructed views of Lake Bled and the surrounding areas. Breakfast was delicious. A range of local products to try with the usual breakfast items. The spa and pool areas were of an excellent standard. There were plenty of pools and jacuzzis to choose from, allowing for a peaceful swim. Everything in the pool and spa area was spotless. The treatment area was spacious and serene, with refreshments on offer before and after one of the best massages we've ever had. Overall, we can't recommend this hotel enough. Every single staff member was polite, accommodating and just wonderful. The attention to detail in the hotel was second to none, our entire experience was smooth, relaxing and enjoyable. We simply cannot wait to return to the Rikli Balance Hotel. "

"Wonderful hotel with great amenities, including access to the swimming pool and a complimentary buffet breakfast. It's in a lovely location, right on the banks of Lake Bled. We opted for a "Park View" rather than a "Lake View", which meant our balcony was overlooking the car park and the road, so was a little noisy during the day. Next time we would pay the extra for a lake view. Despite that, we loved our stay and would absolutely return to this hotel. "

"The hotel was a little walk from downtown, but I felt comfortable walking through the neighborhoods at night. It was very easy to walk from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to downtown Villach. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful; the manager was positively the best. She gave me great recommendations and was very quick in responding to my emails. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet her to thank her in person. "
