"Cactus Cove is a very well presented and comfortable property situated in an outstanding, peaceful location. The rooms are tastefully furnished and the garden/grounds including pool area are immaculately maintained. Sally, the owner, is a wonderful hostess who provides delicious breakfasts, normally with a theme, which are varied and elegantly presented. Our party was two couples who stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here, Thank you Sally."

"We always stay at the Sonesta when we travel to Tucson. It is very nice for our dog because there is a dog run right behind the rooms. The breakfast is very good and included in the rates and the rates are reasonable. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and include a small kitchen. The staff is friendly. It’s not fancy and I’m not sure there is adequate kitchenware to actually cook a dinner, but for our purposes it is excellent. "

Breakfast was decent/okay with a variety of food items (yogurt, toast, oatmeal, cereal, make your own waffles, bacon, coffee, juice, and milk. Room was old and not updated. Morning sunlight shines through random holes in the front door. Screen was not on the track of the patio sliding door. Seemed like a really run down hotel, that could use some fresh paint and updating. A huge plus was that beds were comfortable! "

"I don't know what people are talking about with bad reviews on breakfast. I had a wonderful free breakfast of eggs, bagels, and fruit. The two ladies at the front desk went above and beyond, perfect customer service. The room was excellent, in the back away from traffic noise, comfortable bed. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Oro Valley area."
