There are some stairs but not bad and it’s only 2 small blocks outside the gates of Lucca. The mattress was lumpy but otherwise great heat and nice and roomy. It is a very good value. "

"This is such a hidden gem! We stayed in a first floor room and it was decorated so cute! Super clean and loved the decor. Loved the location. It is a 20 min walk from the train station but we took a taxi. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the air conditioning because there is an Italian law that hotel A/C units cannot run until May 1st (energy conservation and something to do with where Italy gets its electricity and the ongoing conflicts). Not the hotels fault, though! Absolutely lovely...
