Sandsend - York Cottage - a family break that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (10)
"My family and I had a wonderful stay at York cottage. There are several cottages so it felt like a tiny hamlet. Having access to the beautiful hotel grounds was a bonus, especially with having our dog with us. Inside the property was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Super clean, well equipped and with very comfortable beds. Sandsend within walking distance for those who don’t mind a 15-20mins walk (or a very short drive) and a brilliant beach, most of which is dog friendly. If...

Sandsend - Jasmine Cottage - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (14)
"Jasmine Cottage is perfect spot for a couple to spend time near Whitby. On the grounds of Raithewaite Hall and very close to the hotel restaurant and bar. Inside you will find everything you need to cook a meal. Unlike some rental units this cottage is well stocked with plenty of cookware and cutlery. And the arrival gift bag is a nice touch."

Sandsend - Rambling Rose - a family break that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (14)
"The cottage itself is solidly built and the kitchen and bathrooms of good quality. The problems we had were with the quality of the furnishings etc and the difficulty, despite the admitted best efforts of the agent, in getting things resolved. Both bedrooms had broken blinds. So we remained in the dark all week. The kitchen bin lid didn’t shut. We got a new bin after 4 nights. There were no vegetable knives. We got knives after 4 nights. There were stains on the sofa and one of the...
