Seven Lakes Road Apart Hotels

"The hotel, grounds, and staff are excellent with beautifully manicured gardens, pool , very clean apartment and comfortable beds. However it is located next to route 40 and the road noise is very much present. The breakfast is minimal with semiluna, bread, jam , cookie and coffee grounds delivered to your room to make yourself. "

"The property is very new, but we believe that they are falling behind on maintenance and cleaning. My wife noted that the floors were dirty, something that had to be pointed out to me. The breakfast is a bread basket with instant coffee that doesn’t arrive until after 8:30am (earliest). We chose the location BC breakfast was included. Looking back we would have done better by bringing a loaf of brand Nescafe. That way we could have been out hiking by 7 or 8 am instead of 9 or 10 am. Leaving...

"My room was in front of the Main Street (bustillo) so I heard the cars going back and forth all night, the view was not as advertised by the property. On top of this the room was too hot, amenities are open but nobody is on the spa or the pool to help you out, I left after the first night and went to another hotel where my parents made their reservation, less expensive and with much better amenities. I do not recommend this hotel"

"We had a great 3-night stay. Apartment was large, free on-site parking was always available, and we especially enjoyed sitting at the table and chairs while looking at the lake. Owner was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had all the information we needed. Good location outside of the city center, yet easy to walk to two very good breweries that served food as well. "

"Located just a couple of blocks outside downtown San Martin, the setting was very quiet with only the sounds of nature (lots of birds) punctuating the approach of the Argentine autumn. Cabins were spacious with full kitchens and comfortable beds. Gustavo -- self-exiled from Buenos Aires -- who runs the property, an informal tourism minister, was incredibly friendly and helpful and added to the overall warmth of the property, though his Rhodesian Ridgeback, India, would not give up the reception...

"I would not characterize this as a four star hotel as advertised. Rooms are average at best, the furniture is old. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was disappointing, very few dishes to speak of, silverware and cutlery were inadequate, a pot, but no pans. The microwave did not work. Staff at front desk were very friendly, but did not speak good English. Overall average at best but not worth the price"
