"The property and staff were very nice. The houseboat was set up very nice with everything someone could want for a short trip. It is walkable to Publix and sombrero beach (2 miles one way). One downside is you do hear the roosters and the air-conditioning through the thin walls. You are pretty close to your neighboring boats on the deck facing the water. There is ample air conditioning units (3) to keep the unit cool, however likely not a lot of insulation which may be something to consider if...

"Our family of 5 (3 grown children) had a great two-night stay on the boat. The boat's 4 (small) bedrooms were comfortable and each had a small bathroom. Boat was very clean and the living area/outside area was pretty roomy. It is a different experience than a hotel room or house rental (less luxury), but I would recommend the experience. "My friend and I stayed for three nights on the boat. Mark is very friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed watching the storms on the boat and kayaking around the bay. The boat is most certainly older and has some issues but overall we enjoyed our stay. Make sure to pack lots of mosquito repellent because you will become dinner out in the bay."
