"A true paradise. Tucked away in a peaceful rural setting about 1.5 hours from London, this property felt like stepping into another world—quiet, lush, and full of life. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. "I am not sure where to begin, but our stay at the Victorian Lodge in Windsor was absolutely amazing. Hamish was a wonderful host, and we could've stayed forever. There is something special about being in the English countryside, and our stay at the Lodge almost felt like we were inside of a storybook. If you want to be close to London/Windsor, but away from the crowds and the noise, you will not regret staying here. We had no issues getting food delivered, or getting rides to/from the lodge....

"Family and friend gathering. 9 adults over 50 years old. We enjoyed being on the Themes and spent our time outside. The house is not meant for that many adults even though it has 5 bedrooms. Many of the beds were too short and one room is clearly a children’s room. The place needs some TLC on furniture, rugs, beds (sag in middle) and outdoor cleanliness…lots of spider webs. "The cottage was perfect for our family. The place was clean and bright. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed: pots, pans, plenty of dishes and cutlery, serving bowls, coffee maker. There were lots of towels. There is a washing machine but note that there is no tumble dryer but a drying rack. The location was stunning, right by the duck pond and cricket pitch.
