"The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine.We were 2 adults and 2 children, one of the kids slept on a matress on the floor in the living room but it was perfect for what we needed.Doug was very responsive when we needed anything. The only slight down side is that it wasn't very private when using the outdoor area. "

"The location of the unit is ideal for visiting attractions in the Bay of Islands. Its a lovely walk into town and the wharf, the beach is literally at the end of the street. The unit is well equipped and spacious to make your stay enjoyable, things like beach towels and pantry condiments were much appreciated. All the beds were comfortable, the sofa beds were surprisingly good. The communication with the onsite person was excellent and very helpful. We would love to stay here again"

"We were fortunate to have the property pretty much to ourselves so it was blissfully quiet and worth the 10 minute drive to Russell. We treasure little bolt holes like this. It's a little rustic and unmanicured but this is its charm and is still well kitted out and very comfortable. Our dogs were in heaven with lots of room to run around, explore and swim. If you were there in the winter it could feel a bit dreary because the unit is in shade but in the heat of summer it was good.Highly...
