"We had a terrible stay at this hotel and had to leave a day early. The road way to the hotel is appalling and full of pot holes. On arrival at reception the receptionist was pleasant, we then got to our room, even before entering you were hit by the smell of damp and mould, we entered the room and straight away had to open windows because of the smell. "Stayed for 1 night with friends to break our motorbike journey up. Staf couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to cater for our vegan friend. Even gave us some oat milk to take to room for coffee when asked. Couldn't speak highly enough of this hotel. Lovely pool for a swim too"

"Lovely quiet arra to rest durung business trips, but paying for additional room space wasnt worth it as i had trouble getting in and out the shower due to the door being tight to the toilet. The restaurant also seems to have gone down hill and i was served almost burnt and greasy chips with my gluten free meal"

"The room was amazing as was the service. Had a brilliant night with most our time spent in the beer garden. The staff were great and very friendly. Only qualm was waking up in the night with the room roasting. Nothing an open window couldn't fix. Would definitely come black again!"
