"Its proximity to the ropeway was the biggest catch. They have a true onsen but sadly people are naked and don’t wear clothing and modesty is not followed . The staff are great and speak good English. The breakfast is generous but doesn’t quite fit the foreign pallet . Recommendation is that enjoy the delicious bakery items in the ropeway eateries ."

"This is a lovely new hotel, very helpful friendly staff and one of the very best Onsens we’ve experienced in Japan (this is my third trip). Really fantastic- new, clean, three pools- outstanding. The hotel is 35 minutes S of Hakuba by car and an hour by shuttle bus, and the shuttle only runs to and from once per day so without a car you don’t have many options. Omachi, the nearest town is a fairly long walk. Recommend having a rental car if you stay here. "

"We did the Tateyama Alpine Route from Toyama and decided to stay in Omachi. To get to Omachi there is a bus you can catch after getting off the tunnel electric bus in Ogizawa. We were pleasantly surprised with our room located on the top floor and had our own balcony. We stayed in a traditional Japaneses room which had its own toilet and bathroom.
