"Stayed here for 2 nights as an emergency place to stay as I had mechanical problems on my bike. The staff were absolutely superb. The receptionist was delightful and very helpful making recommendations on where to visit and how to travel on the excellent, cheap and frequent bus service into town. Car park was very large and felt secure too. There is a big retail park next door which was very handy too. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and bedding superb. "We had a stop off en route south. The family room had perfect facilities with two single beds for the children and a large double. Also a fridge and microwave to prepare snacks or breakfast. Just what we needed with a child needing specialist food. "

The public areas of the Novotel are nice but the bedrooms are showing their age a bit and the bathrooms need updating. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff were friendly."
