"The hotel, restaurant and spa were lovely but everything is closed on Tuesdays (which we did not know before booking) A car is absolutely essential, and the staff were no help whatsoever in helping us accommodate not having one. "Great stay at Acquaviva. We got a nice room with lake view and Balcony. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel is a 45 mins walk to downtown Desenzano (lake front walk with a great view) and 1:30 walk to Sirmione. We absolutely adored the tratoria del pescatore that is a few blocks away. Spa was great too, the only down thing is that there is no spa tub like advised and they force you to wear a swim cap"
