"This place is immaculate. It is easy to feel ‘at home’ straight away. Everything we needed was there and the hosts were very helpful. Close to town and also to the lake. Waihi beach less than 10 minutes away and others not much further. The Hauraki Rail Trail so close. It was quiet and all in all, a great place to stay."

"Great heated spa & pool. Comfortable bed. Large room. Rubbish bin had not been emptied in our room from previous occupancy. However on check out when I mentioned it I did receive an apology. We were travelling with overseas visitors who commented on the various notices in the room about various “rules” and what you would be charged extra for if you did not “comply”. Eg: bottles had to be placed in bins in the basement. If you forgot anything in the room after checking out there would be a fee...
