"My stay in the Penthouse Suite at Opal Oaks was amazing. The penthouse was spacious and beautiful. The property was quiet and in a good central location. Megan was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which was a lifesaver since I wasn't feeling well and needed a nap. I was in the area for work, and it was so much nicer to stay at Opal Oaks instead of a hotel. I would absolutely stay there again if I am back in the area. I can't say enough nice things - Book it!"

"New owner as of few weeks ago. Restoration work being done. Beautiful setting, Pecky cypress ceilings in main area. Wood floors with beautiful carpeting up stairways and through halls. Very clean. My room appeared to be recently painted. Very comfortable. Wi-fi iffy. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Continental breakfast. Apparently lightning strike on chimney has created some problems. "We stayed here for a 3 day weekend. We visited River Ranch Resort and this was a more affordable stay that was about 30 minutes away. The hotel room was nice, very clean, and comfortable. It was a very quiet and relaxing stay. We did not have any signal but the WiFi worked fine.
