"Ambrosia was absolutely wonderful! Pool areas and entire property were immaculate. Our room was absolutely lovely. Housekeeping staff dropped off fresh towels every morning and were efficient but completely unobtrusive, unlike being in a hotel. The location is ideal for walking to everything - the waterfront harbor, Duvall Street, the southernmost point. The room size was great but I would definitely choose the ocean view over the sunset.We were not in the room except to sleep and shower so it was fine for us. They all made you feel right at home and had a nice breakfast! Unfortunately, there was a musty smell in the building/room.The mattress was thin and not comfortable and the bathroom needs an upgrade. A great selection of food, and in a beautiful location on the water. The renovated Avalon is very nice and comfortable. The only negative is that the water pressure, particularly in the shower, was poor. "
