"Placed on the outskirts of Whitby makes it a very quiet place to stay and the staff are very helpful but the outside of the buildings could do with a good clean up and a waste bin installed to stop litter. "

"This is our second stay at the Fox and Hounds. The staff are very welcoming. The food is excellent, with an extensive choice available. The room was clean, and well presented. There was a good supply of tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water, plus shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Very dog friendly too! "

"Awesome location as it is next to the Whitby Abbey. Location is reachable if you are driving. If you arrive by train, be prepared to walk more than the 199 steps up to the Abbey. One downside is lockers are not available in the rooms to secure your belongings whilst you are out and about."
