"We were very disappointed with the dining room for dinner. The tables looked like a cheap cafe; we were served someone else’s order and I was given a soup spoon with my dessert. The young staff were willing, but not well-trained. Our room was very pleasant but the tap at the basin wobbled and the water in the shower was so hot we had to abandon having a shower because we couldn’t turn it down. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the grounds were stunning."

"A simple property which provided good value for money and suited my needs well. Staff were friendly, check in and check out prompt and bar well stocked. Ample free parking in two council car parks moments away, if the four on-site bays are full. Rooms are basic but in keeping with expectations. "

"Lovely overnight stay. Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfy beds and crisp white bed linen. The bathroom could do with a bit of updating. Super breakfast provided for an amazing £6 each. Whilst this was continental, we were expecting this from the reviews /hotel information. Cereal, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, meat, cheese, filter coffee, toast and delicious pastries. We were late going for breakfast and the staff kindly accommodated this. All food available and still lovely even at the end...
