"The staff, the rooms, the rooftop pool, the location are all what makes this an excellent place to stay. We had a room at the back of the hotel which allowed us to enjoy the lovely atmosphere of the courtyard that often had live music. You can walk to everything you need from this hotel but it is such a lovely place that you may not be in a rush to leave."

"Stayed in this hotel right in the Gothic Quarter a couple of nights before cruise. Excellent location. Very busy area but loved that we could walk right out the front door to the street. Walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. A little bit loud at night when a few quests arrived late. Restaurant on site was ok. Front desk staff were pleasant. "

"Facilities in hostal were minimal, but ok for a budget hostal. Room adequately clean. Bit of street noise audible at night as on first floor. Good location in gothic quarter, 5 mins or so from Metro, waterfront and several other attractions. Staff speak Spanish and some English. Free wifi was available but connection tended to be a bit weak."
