"Excellent customer service. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and close to plenty of eateries and activities. The only downside to that is hearing sirens quite loudly in the night. Next time I'll just take ear plugs! A great stay. "

"The room was warm and quiet, and the location is handy to the Aotea Centre. For snacks etc there's a minimart just across the road. If you want to cook there's a kitchen downstairs. I didn't realise it was a backpackers but wasn't a oroblem.Good value for money"

"A nice place to stay in the middle of Auckland. It was a bit hard to find at first, but we got there. Car parking was a bit hairy with a big car but manageable and it was good to find a place that offered parking. Stayed with our teenagers in separate rooms. The higher floor had great views and was quiet but the lower floor had no view and was very noisy, at times sounding like people were standing right outside our windows even with the window closed. No rubbish bin in one of the room....

"Good value hotel quieter outside mid week . Ive always stayed here in Auckland and its handy to bus stops and K Road. Shame the restaurant once available for breakfast and dinner and now used as a common room closed some years ago but maybe one day it will open again. "Unwelcoming other guests on the property being issued milk and other food by security guards. On checkin we were given the key to our room. However the room had not been cleaned, unmade bed, used towels all over room, toilet not flushed, alcohol cans in kitchen, not a good welcoming for me & my 13 year old son. We took a refund & left"

"The staff were fantastic, friendly and accommodating. The only negative about our stay is the noise that carries from the restaurant if your're staying in a room close to the restaurant, however this noise does disappear pretty much after 930pm and the window in the room not being soundproof as we could hear a dog barking for most of the night. However the food was exceptional, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious. Also having the convenience of airport transfers was fantastic! We would definitely stay there again ☺️"
