"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property . We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn. Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"High standard of accomodation in a quiet rural setting and good access to surrounding larger towns. Within walking distance of several other pubs. Highly reccomended and good value for money "

"A lovely family, very friendly and perfect location for easy access to Liverpool. We had a 2nd floor room with amazing views of the Liver building and river Mersey. The breakfast was top quality and plenty of it. Everything was very relaxed and welcoming, would definitely like to stay again"

"Anfield is right around the corner. It was the perfect location for walking around the area, exploring Stanley Park, and it was still easy to catch a bus to center city. I had some travel mishaps, and Suzzanne was great to work with. Suzi was likewise great. The atmosphere on matchday was amazing. As a solo traveler my room was small, but it was all I needed. Highly recommended for anyone going to an LFC match."

"We would definitely stay here again, the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The entertainment on a night Dj and Bingo was really good. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely catered for all needs and had a wide variety of choices. service was exceptional. Other guests made you feel welcome made you feel you had known them for years. Family friendly hotel my 5 year old had a great time. Thank you so much…. The White family"

"Five star service from start to finish. Lukas and Andrea contacted us on the day to ask our time of arrival and we’re waiting as we arrived. We had a family room which was actually 2 connecting rooms. One with a double bed and one with triple bunks. The double mattress was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was absolutely spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with proper mugs (not tiny cups) which was a bonus. The cooked breakfast was delicious...

"The staff were great. Had a really good salad. Nice pub and restaurant area But, the room needed a good paint. Shower needs the mould cleaned off to and the worst part was the mattress Thankfully i got an extra duvet to use as a "topper" to try and get a few hours sleep in"

"Located in a nice quiet town. Everyone is extremly nice. Breakfast was good and even had the option to be served in your room."

"Lovely stay at a very friendly hotel. We were made to feel welcome on arrival and the hotel owners Paul and Scarlet could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay. We did not book breakfast but it was there for us each day if we wanted it. Paul recommended other bars for us to attend and helped reassure us about one we weren't sure about. All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Dragon Fly and will certainly return "

"Apartment room was good, needed a little more finesse & finishing but reasonable. There were some niggles such as rusty toilet roll holder, shower door that doesn't properly shut, no shelf in the shower room. The main issue however was the entrance & stairs which were very dirty. "
