"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "Good b&b. Immaculately clean, well located for central Southport. Off street parking a bonus. Room facilities very good - hospitality tray, room fridge, internet TV (bring your Netflix password!). Really nice guest lounge with well stocked honesty bar. Hosts friendly and knowledgeable about local eateries etc. Recommended."

"Lovely location on a working farm. Friendly, approachable staff, nice room with a big comfortable bed. Room was clean apart from a few cobwebs. The breakfast was excellent with a nice range and dare I say it the local black pudding was tastier than what I'd usually get from Bury! Only niggles were, the shower door was a little small for larger people and no hot water from sink tap. "Anfield is right around the corner. It was the perfect location for walking around the area, exploring Stanley Park, and it was still easy to catch a bus to center city. I had some travel mishaps, and Suzzanne was great to work with. Suzi was likewise great. The atmosphere on matchday was amazing. As a solo traveler my room was small, but it was all I needed. Highly recommended for anyone going to an LFC match."

"I like the convenience of walking to many places around. The staff was pretty good. There is a major issue with two things: Quality of the mattress Washing machines were not working. You have only two Peking machines for an entire building. Some are out of order and they are so small that you have to do two loads of laundry. Management or The owner should invest more money to upgrade the room mattresses and the laundry rooms"
