"We had a short break at Stoke Park and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a very special place and the grounds are fantastic. A highlight was the swimming pool which was very warm, we'll maintained and beautiful with lots of natural light and a big fish tank at the back. "The service, rooms, cleaning and breakfast was amazing. Reception printed off tickets and upgraded our stay. Good value for money. The area Slough itself did not feel that safe and there is nothing appealing in Slough. It's only a twenty drive from airport and approximately a 10 minute drive to Windsor castle. Taxis readily available. It's still cheaper than staying in Windsor but as a tourist you may prefer to stay in the CBD The only item I would request of the motel is some pamphlets or...

"The staff were welcoming and friendly. Loads of parking spaces. Grounds well maintained and pretty. Bedroom was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Food served in the bar was tasty and portions were good but highly priced for the standard. Wine is very expensive! Breakfast options good and fast service. The hotel does need updating. The central heating was permanently on and no thermostat on the bathroom radiator so it was unbearably hot. Same issue experienced in other guest rooms...

"Beautiful old hotel. Stunning grounds, which were very well kept. Staff in restaurants and reception extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the furniture in the bedroom needed a bit of tlc. I found rubbish in my bedroom from the previous occupant and quite a lot of dust. There was water on the first night, we stayed 5, despite requesting twice it never got replaced. The only toiletry was hand soap which was also to be used as body wash and shampoo....
