"The Grand is an iconic hotel with lots of character, but is now looking a little tired in places…chipped paint, thick layers of paint, dented wood / door frames, worn carpets (in high traffic areas), dated bathrooms..etc, hence there is a multi million pound refurbishment plan in place…to bring it back into the spotlight as the top hotel in Brighton. But the rooms are of good size, huge beds, everything is of good quality and the staff are excellent, from the very curtious door staff to the breakfast crew. We have been coming here for years and particularly like the atmosphere at Christmas, with the enormous Christmas tree and decorated spiral bannister…"

"Amazing stay from start to finsh. Room clean, comfortable and the veiw exceptional. Lovely balcony veiw and from the bed veiw too. Breakfast very good, great selection of fresh produce. Food in the Bar was exceptional too. Cant wait to visit again. "

"Loved the lounge decor, great interior design. Very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting there instead of being in room. And for once the drinks weren’t over priced . Which is a put off."
