"Suite was tasteful but a little worn - in bathroom in particular. The shower took easily 10 mins to heat up. Was on the brink of giving up when it began to heat up. Didn't like having an overloaded extension in the room. The young guys working in the dining room were terrific -friendly, polite and professional. Ross handled an issue with our booking immediately. Food was very good. I would return."

I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "

The room was imaculate and bed very comfortable , great leisure facilities (the only improvement in my mind would be a bigger sauna) and one of the best hotel breakfasts ive had in a while .
