"Because we were staying for Crufts the hotel was extremely busy and it did take a long time to check in. The room was good, the bed was comfy, we couldn't get the sofa bed to open up so my friend slept on the sofa as it was. The bathroom was very small and there was a crack in the sink which considering we paid nearly £500 for two nights I did think it wasn't very good. There was also cigarette ends outside the window, there is no smoking in the hotel so why were they there and why hadn't they...

"We totally enjoyed the time we stayed in the PHhostel with the three staff we saw, very friendly, funny and very helpful when we needed anything. We only had one issue we didn’t like and that was the bathroom situation as each time we went to it, we found it to be dirty, no toilet roll or very messy. "

"Myself and my colleague stayed over for a training event we had in birmingham, this was a fab hotel rooms basic but clean which is all you need, fabulous places for transport links and shops (which we were able to go have a wee look at), breakfast was beautiful with plenty opitions and the reception/bar area was lovely and welcoming."

"The hotel and rooms are of a high standard and the staff is kind and helpful. Aston Uni is across the street which seems a good place for a walk. Three things to be aware of: 1. If you have perfume sensitivities, the lobby and bar are treated with a perfume which can be a problem for you. We tried to move through quickly to minimise our bodies’ reactions. 2. There is no loading/unloading area in front for luggage. If a Ringgo space in front happens to be open and no warden, you may be able to...

"On the whole the stay was fine. However we had a meal in the restaurant and was told by the waiter it would be put on the bill. However sometime after ten pm when we were all asleep we had a call saying we need to go to the restaurant to pay the bill. Our granddaughter was asleep and this woke her up.i had to get dressed. Also no one told us we had pay for the car park. Then this morning I had a text saying payment for the hotel had been attempted but was declined I had to go to reception...
