"Lovely grand old hotel on the surface. Staff were friendly and helpful most of the time. Very clean, nice large bathroom and comfy bed. However, there were a couple of things which would have really improved my stay at the hotel. We booked a superior double room. There was nothing superior about this room, I would describe it as basic. There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room, no complimentary bottles of water.
