"One of Portofino’s finest hotels. Our private, luxurious, high-ceiling, large room with a balcony overlooking the sea was a total treat. A fairy tale. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us. "Excellent spot if you get a 2 bdrm apartment with terrace or a small balcony room with a view. Staff and food was excellent. Communication was poor - check in was a circus. Convention checking out at 3pm while new arrivals are checking in. Parking was a clown show. The lift (get's you to get the town level for the beach, shopping, restaurants etc. was out of service. Water to the town / hotel was off between 8 PM and 9 AM one night. Bad timing for us I guess - but it's a beautiful spot with...

"This is nice European hotel by the beach. It has a little rooftop bar where everybody socializes one of the best breakfast buffets we've had in our whole trip to Italy park right in front of the hotel in the parking lot for the bay/pier. It's a 2 to 3 minute walk to the ferry that takes you north to portofino There's lots of nice shops, walking distance in downtown for Resturants provisions wine merchants. Old town of rapallo is very walkable and you'll enjoy the calm comfort more than the smaller towns. "

"I loved my stay at Miramare. The room was small but very comfortable with a fantastic view. The breakfast was great and the restaurant was delicious. All of the staff were friendly and gracious, and I especially loved one of the bartenders, Nic I think, he was so fun and kind and attentive, and I loved chatting with him while having some wine and snacks. I loved Rapallo overall, so quaint and beautiful. I will be back! "

"I loved this hotel. Perfectly situated above the plaza and train station and at the end of the street, full of restaurants and things to see and do and a great view and wonderful staff and convenient and clean and an excellent value for the money. I loved this hotel. I stay at three star hotels to five star hotels and this was the perfect hotel for the visit to Genoa Italy. "

Excellent hotel

"I visited this hotel in April with my mother. We chose the superior room with a balcony and it was wonderful. Our room had a queen bed and a separate area with a twin bed and a second balcony. It was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful bedding, pillows and towels. The room had everything we could want: an espresso machine, kettle, fridge and all toiletries. We chose to add breakfast to our reservation and it was excellent with many choices and excellent coffee. The port area is lively and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town, restaurants and shops and public transportation. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed 2 nights before our cruise and one night after. The personnel were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is next to the train station. 15 minute walk to the port and 20 minutes car ride to the airport. Walking distance to everthing. I would diffinently go back to this hotel if I were to go bake to Genoa."
