"My husband and I celebrated our 28th anniversary in New Orleans as it was on my bucket list of places to visit. My parents were married here back in the 1940's so it was special to me. I chose the Dauphine Hotel since it was in the French Quarter and I was not disappointed. Our room had a balcony looking out to the street and it was easy to find, just look for all the national flags out front. Close to but not too near Bourbon St which gets really loud at evening especially on weekends. There will be some noise at night, so pack some earplugs just in case. There is a parking garage and a valet will park the car. In the elevator the"M" is where 2nd story parking is..helpful to know! Our room was very comfortable and beds felt great after a day of walking in the city. All the staff were wonderful. There's sooo much to see and taste. Bon appetit!"

"The coffee shop was amazing! Large roof top pool (not heated). Very modern and clean inside. Location was PERFECT with the streetcar stop right outside the hotel. Easy walk to the French Quarter with lots of souvenir type shoppes on the way down Canal Street and others. We stayed Tuesday-Thursday right after Mardi Gras and never once felt unsafe or thought Bourbon Street area was "dirty". Everyone at the hotel, streetcar stops, Ubers and businesses we went to were sooooo nice and friendly with lots of tips on things to see and how to save money. Cajon Pride Swamp Tour with Big Joe was amazing--NOT a tourist trap! Blue Oak BBQ was absolutely divine and a gorgeous and easy walk down to the City Park. Then a quick streetcar ride back to this hotel. The alligator bites (half fried and half blackened) and corn dip at Mambos on Bourbon were worth going back to twice in our short stay. Can't wait to go back and stay longer!"

"I came with my son for spring break as a mom and son trip before he leaves me for college and I have got to say it was an amazing trip! Everything about this hotel was great! The only issue was the ac did not get very cool, but I kind of expected it. It is an old building after all. The staff was so nice and welcoming! They recommended places to eat, things to do and were so accommodating! I enjoyed all the charms the hotel has to offer including the pool area! Very beautiful. I would definitely come back!"
