"As an over hundred year old building, I think its condition is good enough. It is closed to Liverpool Central but on a quiet street. Suitable for weekend visit. People are friendly and helpful. I can tell some of the roommate stay there for long. They are working in the hostel and interact like family. However, as there is only one public toilet, it is difficult to manage cleanness. "Location is perfect! Can’t beat the convenience of the hotel. But staff was strange and at night the security stood around in a group of 3-5 like some sort of mafia bit did nothing as I was getting harassed by a homeless man right in front of them. Hotel is old but spacious rooms and beds were clean. They are going through room renovations - so may have to deal with the slight renovation mess and noise. "

Needs few touches plugs in better location needs bathroom shelf, side table etc. Sadly lift not working throughout stay BIG impact on our stay as we were on top floor 8 levels from ground very steep stairs. It deterred us from shopping as unable to carry things upstairs. Our knees badly swollen now!!! Staff were lovely. Needs blackout blinds slightly noisy rooms doors banging"

"The location is fantastic and we found great parking nearby that cost us less that £20 for over 48hrs. The apartments are very spacious but could do with some fresh paint on the walls. Ours had missing pictures frames and there were no blinds on the windows so the light woke us up early. The beds were clean and comfy and it was great to have a full kitchen to prep food for during the day. "
