"We had the most wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matias B&B on the beautiful island of Gozo. Breakfast was amazing with fresh local sweets and bread in addition to cooked to order. Dinner was fantastic with fresh ingredients from nearby farmers (you need to reserve until 2 pm). Rooms are very nice, large and furnished with style. Xlendi is a 30min walk, and Victoria a 20min walk.I would definitely come back if I had the chance to."

"We had a lovely 6 days at the Old Mill, the hosts were kind and friendly, full of useful local knowledge. We did hire a car which afforded us some freedom, it is a little isolated, but there is a bus stop opposite and Bolt operates. My daughter and I were lucky to have the room with a large balcony over looking farm land and to the sea. We sat there at night too, listening to the silence, or fireworks or star gazing. "Villa was lovely, very clean with lots of quirky bits to it. Lots of winding steps to bedrooms so not good if you have mobility issues. Only downside was only a small amount of sun by pool (possibly because we went in September) it may be different in earlier months. Although lots of sun on upper terrace, it was nice to have an outdoor shower so easy to cool off. Unfortunately while we were there a lot of dog barking from nearby which was frustrating at times.
