"On the whole this was a beautiful hotel and staff were mostly lovely. Shockingly, we did experience an extraordinarily rude waiter on the first morning - I’ve never experienced anything like it - fortunately other staff were lovely. Also when we arrived, there was a bit of a delay and we were asked to wait - we were offered complimentary drinks- a nice gesture but they took an age to arrive and we had to chase it up - not a great first impression."

"A boutique hotel unique and quirky. Each room decorated in the style and era of a Dutch nobleman. The lighting in the room is subdued presumably as it would have been back in the day. "My husband and I stayed here as a stop on our honeymoon tour and we have nothing but amazing things to say. The staff went above and beyond for us (upgraded our room for free, left flowers and champagne in the room a sweet note) and were consistently kind, attentive, and overall pleasant to interact with.
