"Great stay. Only complaint even though it's a 10/10 is the parking. Of course it Manhattan and NUC is busy but the parking was 5 blocks away. I wish there was parking on 47th or closer than 51st. But as long you get the stamp it's a 45 a night parking which it good for overnight parking in NYC. I had an Escalade so my parking was 65 for an oversized vechile. Really comfortable great city view no complaints outside parking "

"Our room is fine. The food at the restaurant is good, but the space is dark and it is very crowded and noisy at night. We had to order from room service. The staff is very helpful and friendly. "

"My only complaint about Pod39 is that the outlets above the desk never seem to work. I always have to climb under the desk to use the outlets to charge my phone and other electronic devices. As a senior, that’s not very convenient."

"The stay was great! The only thing I wish we had was a pamphlet in our room that gave us the same run-down as they do at the front desk (amenities, numbers to call for certain services, more info on the rooftop, etc). Besides that, everyone was so helpful."

"Excellent room with a kitchen. Sufficient storage. Great location near 33rd St subway and close to a few restaurants. Staff were very helpful. A few issues which were dealt with promptly. Be aware that check in is one side of the street and our room was the other side, possibly because we had two beds."

"The rooms on second floor can be claustrophobic with no windows but the staff was extremely nice and moved me to a different room. The air conditioning is a bit outdated and needs to be readjusted every now and then as the room gets too hot or too cold. Overall the stay was nice and this place is definitely a better choice over many others in the area. "

"I was drawn to this location due to convenient proximity to the ballet and the rooftop lounge in the summer. A plus that the Empire is featured in one of my favorite shows (Gossip Girl). However, as a young woman who travels alone I would prefer if the elevators required room keys for access as an added layer of security, even though the UWS and Lincoln Center is generally a very safe place to stay"
