"Amazing place. The private onsen room is awesome. We were very surprised with the size of the room(s). It was actually far too large for just 2 person. The sofa alone could easily sleep 3 persons. The shower room was quite big and the rain shower was just so great. The only thing i did not like too much was the toilet that was quite small."

"Staffs are wonderful, and Very fluent in English. They go above and beyond to help customers. I am not particularly good at tech. The staffs helped me downloaded, selected right plan for our Hakone free pass. They also make sure we know the time of our bus. Both the indoor, and outdoor hot springs are beautiful. The restaurant, the breakfast, and dinner is both authentic as well as delicious. Everything is an amazing experience. "

Staff was attentive and helped transport you around the facility via golf cart at request - this helped immensely with luggage transportation up and down the hillside that the property sits on. "This was a smaller ryokan so the onsen required appointments which is nice since you get the whole onsen for your own group or yourself. You might have to get weird hours though. The rooms were Japanese style and spacious but the bathroom was small. Also the bathroom didn't smell very good. There was also a kotatsu which was very cool to see. "

The onsen was a very pleasant surprise-I enjoyed the spa experience very much. Our room was large with a separate seating area to relax and look out at the mountain view. "This was my first time staying at a ryokan and it was a great experience! The onsen was nice and the futons were very comfortable. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that my friends and I seemed to be the only foreigners staying at the time, so we got a lot of curious looks. But the employee who checked us in spoke English, so I'm sure they do get foreign guests rather frequently. Overall, it was a relaxing stay."
