"Staff were very friendly , helpful and polite.We had breakfasts and dinners there and they were delicious and freshly cooked. Our room was clean but cold on occasions. The shower sealant needs replacing because it has mould on it. Excellent location for getting the bus into Edinburgh."

"We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "

"Everything was perfect about this property. It was in a great location, bus stop literally at the door. On street parking without issue. The premises themselves were lovely. Very spacious, tasteful but modern interior with comfortable beds & a very flash bathroom (in our family room). We also had a beautiful view of the golf course and racecourse to wake up to. "The location is close to all the places we wanted to see (10-15min walk). We had the castle view which was nice. We were able to walk to/from the station comfortably. There are plenty of food options along the way. I highly recommend this place. The property is maintained well, the employees are helpful and the room was clean. "
