Lift starts up a few steps, so can be hard if carrying heavy luggage. This was our situation, but quickly staff and everything about this beautiful place, relieved our frustration. "The air conditioning is not allowed to be on due to time of year but staff offered us a fan for the room which was great. Our travel adapters we had been using in many other cities did not fit the plugs there so had to buy New ones just for Florence. There was construction around the hotel so woke us up at 7am with the noise and had one of the workers outside of our bathroom window seeing us in the bathroom which was awkward."

"The location of this property couldn’t be beat. It’s in the heart of Florence so everything is accessible. My only gripe is that in the Expedia site it says Breakfast included. It should say “continental breakfast” as all the bookings I make have to include breakfast and it was quite a disappointment. There was coffee you could make, orange juice and two bread rolls with jam available."

The location is very close to everything, shopping, train station ( 7 minutes walking distance) and other attractions. I had some mosquitoes bites at night, I wish they had some repellent for them. TV channels very limited, some no signal"

Staff were very friendly as well and the hotel was very clean. The only negative was the old style windows mean the noise from outside the room is very very loud even into the early hours of the morning.
