"We've stayed in this hotel previously and it always lives up to our expectations. The price for B&B is very good, although the bar menu could do with improving. We ate our evening meal at the Chilworth Arms which is busy but nearby. The staff are lovely and I'm sure we'll stay again."

"Huge room at a great price"

"I appreciated the staff for many reasons. I did have to wait for my room after getting off the cruise ship early and expected that. I worked and took a nap in the lobby. One very kind young man who was working in the dining/kitchen department approached me when I woke up to ask if I was ok. He told me he had been very worried about me but when he asked his manager if he should wake me up, he told him to let me sleep. He just wanted me to know he kept an eye on me to make sure I was ok. How sweet is that?! Later that night I was chilled and my room wasn't warm enough. The front desk staff brought me a folded double duvet and a space heater and I slept soundly and warmly all night. I feel they all went above and beyond. The proximetry to the train station is a bonus. "

"Everything first class. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Appreciated our luggage being taken to and from our room. Standard room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed using the coffee machine and appreciated the excellent breakfast tea and china teapot. Lovely biscuits and complimentary gin too. Also liked the chocolates and handwritten postcard for my husband's birthday, a nice gesture. Made full use of the spa facilities the following morning namely the pool, jacuzzi and relaxation room. Would highly recommend a stay here."
