"Nice lady checked us in. Nice & warm in all areas. Nice bedroom. Had 18 stairs to climb though, not really suitable for the elderly, so ask for a first floor room. Television a bit small for the room but had lots of channels. Quiet area so had a good sleep every night. Convenient for the Mayflower theatre & not too far to the main shopping area if you enjoy a short walk. Close to the railway station too."

"We returned to hotel after being out for dinner to find the bathroom floor flooded. This was promptly dried up with floor ti be told to contact reception if it happens again. All looked fine only to find the same thing when going to the loo at 2am. This time we were relocated to anothet room, given complimentary breakfadt and late checkout at 2pm. "The Pilgrim Inn was fantastic. It was incredibly clean, the twin room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom. The shower was roomy with a powerful head and plenty of hot water. It was easy to book and when i needed to move the trip, it was very easy to do. We had a lovely meal in the evening and breakfast the following morning had a great selection and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely visit again. "
