The park is right next door to the Village Roadshow Studios and contains a giant water tank which is regularly used for film shoots.Movie World is themed around old favourites and new blockbuster hits from Warner Bros. Fly Batman-style on the Arkham Asylum coaster ride or the Batwing Spaceshot, then ride like daredevil superheroes on the Superman and Green Lantern rollercoasters. The kids will love meeting their favourite cartoon characters in the Looney Tunes Fun Zone, or trying out the Road Runner rollercoaster featuring real Acme dynamite! The whole family can meet up in Main Street at the end of the day to watch the All Stars Parade, featuring a cavalcade of brightly costumed movie characters.Action men can satisfy their craving for speed at the Hollywood Stunt Driver shows, where you can watch daredevil car chases being rehearsed. For the extra price of a VIP Pit Pass, you can sit with your nose in the action in the front row and even ride with the drivers as they show off their favourite party tricks, plus you’ll also get a video souvenir of your adventures to show the folks back home.Horror fans will get their fix at Friday Night at Halloween, featuring horror movies, scary mazes and other shows geared towards adults with a taste for the frankly terrifying. Every December the focus is on the kids, with ice-skating, 4-D movies and special White Christmas parades, while in February Chinese New Year is the perfect excuse for a special programme of events culminating in a spectacular dragon parade.Movie World is situated on the Pacific Motorway at Oxenford and is open every day except Christmas day and 25 April. During peak holiday times it can be very crowded, so try to avoid these times if you want to beat the queues. A VIP Pass also covers admission to Sea World and Wet’n’Wild, so if you plan to visit all three parks it’s a convenient alternative to purchasing separate entry tickets.

Appartment was nice inside, the hallway was dirty and smelling like smoke at night time , wasn’t good condition and my children couldn’t sleep at night, my son has asthma so when I asked to be moved they couldn’t accommodate us. Vacuum cleaner wasn’t working properly. The view was fantastic and other than what I said above the location was fantastic and we enjoyed our holiday. Next time you have to let families know if this is a smoking floor.

Get a combo deal for park entry online before you go - its a lot cheaper If there are a number of rides not working complain - we got some fast passes for our next trip.

If you go during school holidays then get there early and buy a fast pass otherwise you will wait over 1 hour to go on a ride. The park closes early at 5pm and you don't get much time on rides.
