"My son loves astronomy so we needed a place that was remote for the dark skies. This place was perfect. We loved that we could walk right out the door and set up his telescope. The house was very clean, organized and well stocked. Know that there are no stores or restaurants nearby so you must bring your own food and drinks. Roberta, our contact person was amazing. She was pleasant, easy to reach and very informative. We would love to stay here again. "

"The ranch is a little hard to find on Google Maps as we were driving over in the dark after viewing wildflowers in Anza Borrego- it's actually opposite the Warner Springs Ranch gas station. We were saved by an alert and super helpful security guard who spotted us! The cottage is small and cozy, with two heaters in case it gets cold. Basic amenities were provided. It was a good place for us to get a rest and sleep before heading back up to the Bay Area the next day."

"This place is great and has everything you might need. Great views of the mountains and Lake Henshaw. Amazing night sky (as long as other cabins turn their porch lights off). Even though it was 100+ degrees the tree shade helped outside and AC inside was great. Great porch. 2 bathrooms were so good to have. Really cute and comfortable. We really enjoyed one night and will be back!"
