"I spent 10 days in Tokyo with a friend at Hotel Niwa in one of their tatami rooms with two twin beds. This room was perfect and gave us the space to lay out all our luggage. For a hotel extremely close to a train line, it was surprisingly quiet as well! Unfortunately, I only realized once there that I had forgotten my friend is a terrible snorer and I had to request the staff to give me another room booking. "We booked a corner room which was bigger than the regular rooms. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The towels were plush as were the bathrobes, the toiletries of excellent quality, the beds and pillows very comfortable. The view of the city from the windows was great. The staff was amazing and always ready to help. There is a subway station very near but it’s not on the loop. We didn’t care because the hotel was definitely worth it.
