"Cute and stylish cottage (we were in the Milking Parlour), easy to find and good location. Cosy for a few days for a couple but the outside space a bit disappointing. Inside the cottage is pretty much exactly as per the photos. It's stylish and cleverly designed for multi-functional self-catering. Even has a dishwasher! Some tea, coffee beans, sugar, milk and olive oil kindly provided. The smart home features for air-con, heating, radio etc take getting used to but are effective. Could do with...

"Second time at the Summer House. The best indicator i can give is i read 2 books. The location near to Lyndhurst and to Lymington is perfect for reducing travelling. Never realised how close we were to Beaulieu and Bournemouth. A day at Beaulieu wasn't long enough so a return is on the books. Travelling to Bournemouth and other seaside places is a waste of the tranquility of the stay. Walking the New Forest, on the doorstep is a dream. We will return in a heart. Alan"

"Anne and Ral are wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a decadent gift of homemade cakes and a bottle of Prosecco. The location is secluded and magical- great walks from the cottages. We saw a white buck at the front gate."

"Property was tired and not as shown. Not clean. We had light bulbs that didn’t work, chipped crockery, a small tv with a router that kept the screen image blinking throughout programmes and then to cap it all a blocked sink in the downstairs toilet. We left before the end of our stay. Would never go back."

"Do NOT stay at this property - I would go as far to say that I would not stay at any property managed by Henry Adams. There was a large blob of blood, yes blood!, in the crockery drawer right by the plates. Crumbs in the fridge, black mould on the freezer door seal, cobwebs in every room, filthy dirty pole to open roof windows (covered in black dirt), upper floor toilet was leaking, the hairdryer was covered in dirt and the back of its filter was completely clogged and not safe to use, cracked...
