"We had an amazing time at Canto Del Sol. The staff was helpful and friendly, the daily and nightly entertainment was fun and engaging, beautiful grounds and the pools were clean. The buffet was good with a nice assortment of foods. The a la carte restaurants were top notch food and service. Book those early in your stay as we didn't get to try one of them that we wanted. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite in the mountain section. This was the only disappointment of the trip. Although the room was clean, everything was very old. The kitchen needs to be removed as it wasn't stocked with anything usable, and really who needs a kitchen at an all inclusive? The tubs and sinks all need replacing, none of them had working stoppers. Even cheap simple things, that are easy to fix,like a missing knob to pull for the shower, as well as shower curtain rod clips. We thought about buying a set for them while we were there. The beds were old, but still comfortable. We didn't go to Mexico to spend our days inside though, so it really wasn't a big deal for us. The experience of everything else overshadows the minor inconveniences, but i could see some people making a big deal over this. Would definitely stay there again, but maybe try a different section of the resort than the mountain suites"

"Stayed here 4 times. Its everything we need in a place to stay. The staff is so wonderful. We live that some of the staff recognizes us each time. The poolside staff is always on top of drinks and food. They definitely go above and beyond! My only complaint is the noise at night. People who are oblivious to others and being loud in the hallways. Also the music in the lobby that goes until late was very loud. Earplugs are a must"
