"A very nice hotel in a great location. The room was large for a European hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The hotel was in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing I thought was a nice touch was they gave u water bottles daily which was nice to have when touring around. I would definitely recommend this hotel"

"First time staying at the Novotel in Edinburgh. The early check in link through Hotels .com gave us a scare when the Novotel answered a query by saying they couldn't find the reservation, however, the actual check in at the desk was quick and easy . Hotel reception is bright and airy, staff were friendly. The execution room was excellent and the breakfast was first class, loads of choice. One of the lifts was out of action which caused an increase in wait times but nothing excessive. Great location for Grassmarket and Old town attractions. I would stay at the hotel again, recommended. "The staff were superb and made our 2 night vist most enjoyable. The food in Sofia's was excellent as was the breakfast. The disabled room was fine with just 1 tight spot.The bathroom was well thought out and the toiletries lovely. Location for our concert at the Royal Lyceum was ideal."
