"We enjoyed our three days at Inn at the Beach. My ratings are not those with an expectation of a 5 star hotel in a city, but for more of a 2 story motel at the beach. I chose it specifically for its beach proximity and it did not disappoint. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived and accommodated us an hour earlier than check in time as our room was ready. There’s a great coffee and tea machine, better than most hotels I’ve stayed in, along with a variety of foods offered for a continental breakfast. Venice Beach is steps away and the motel has a variety of beach items to use if needed. It is also across the street from a beautiful park and easily walkable to downtown Venice. Just a note, there was a significant charge when I booked the hotel online at their site, more than one nights stay. When I rebooked through Expedia, it was significantly less! I would definitely stay at Inn at the Beach again if I were to visit the area again."

"Be careful when booking on expedia. I included my wife and I, and our two 4yos, and it still let me a book a studio with only a queen bed which said it only sleeps two, but i obviously overlooked it because i assumed it wouldnt let me book a room that only sleep two when we have four of us."
